After 5 weeks without a game and a number of players missing, we knew that this was going to be a hard match.
Game was played at Treborth and was a bit heavy that made it difficult for both teams.
This game saw the return of Sam Faulkner to the bridge, we should have taken the lead after two minutes when a cross to the far post was met by Andy Wannop but he couldn't finish the chance off.
We lost Mark Jones to a knee injury on 32 mins and he was replaced by Jason Scott.
on 37 mins a superb cross field ball from Sam Faulkner put Tom Parry through on goal and slotted the ball in the back of the net. We had a few more half chances in the 1st half but could have done with maybe scoring a couple more playing with the wind.
The boys were playing well and working hard as a team and doubled their lead on 53 mins when a Owain Roberts corner was met by Andy Wannop head and into the net the ball went.
60 mins Brendon Whitfield replaced by Andy Clarke
64 mins a lovely through ball put Andy Clarke in on goal and as he attempted to chip the keeper, the keeper managed to get his fingers to it.
The final 25 mins Gwalchmai go more and more into the game and our boys started to show that over a month without a game were staright to show.
Gwalchmai pulled a goal back on 67 mins.
Sam Faulkner had given his all and on 75 mins (1st game back for almost 6 months) was replaced by Elliott Parry-Jones.
With only a couple of minutes left scored the equalizer .
