A good start, however this did not last as Whinmoor put us under pressure and took a lead of 4-16 into the half time break. Whinmoor took the upper hand into the second half but could not convert it into points, as the second half progressed Methley grew in confidence and pulled it back to 10-16. The game then went from end to end with every play and the final score was 14-28 to Whinmoor. A good game, however at times we were our own worst enemy and put ourselves under pressure wth silly mistakes that need to be worked on in training.
