Manager Jim Cooper, spoke to us about Saturdays poor yet successful performance as the Blues won 2-0 away to Tooting

Cooper stated: "If I’m honest, today was one of our poorest performances of the season but to come away with the three points and a clean sheet even when we were so poor shows me that we still have a chance to remain within sight of the playoffs. Our passing was poor, our work rate was below par and we just looked very tired. We made a tactical change at the start of the second half which allowed Fidd’s and Bayley the opportunity to exploit the spaces in midfield and importantly get on the ball. The first of our goals was scored by Jonny Wright whom I thought was our best player today, the second from debutant Alec Fiddes who showed enough to me today that we have signed a very good player. We have a rest this week which is the first time since I can remember for a long time, hopefully, this will allow us to recharge our batteries and come back next Saturday full of energy"
