We came away from yesterday’s game asking how on earth we lost that game. Well the first goal was a
well struck effort outside the box although we should have done much better in the midfield area. The second was a huge mistake by Luke and will go down as an own goal, the third was in the last minute when we were pushing forward, so on paper it sounds like a heavy defeat, That though was far from the fact. We totally dominated both possession and chances. Harrow’s defending was absolutely magnificent and was also well supported by their keeper. We were very wasteful in front of goal but we did create at least 15 opportunities to score, on another day we could have won that game 10 - 4 On chances but alas it wasn’t to be. I will be looking to freshen up the squad this week and if people have to leave to finance this then so be it. We’re still missing Tom Hickey and Olli Robinson, the latter may not be too long out and has also turned down a move to another local Bostik league side. This Wednesday we host Clapton FC in the London Senior Cup so hopefully we will bounces straight back.
