I was delighted with the result at Redhill. I ran a 1st team training session at imber court whilst Phil and Ian took the side at Redhill. To have players from our academy not only compete but nearly beat a Ryman one South side is fantastic.

Ryan James and Ric Joseph brought a bit of experience to a very young side. For many it was their first taste of 1st team football.
I keep saying it but the future is bright.

My reason for not sending the 1st team was simple, with a small squad it was a game to far. The lads are fit, I don't need them being burnt out before we even start.

Normal service will be resumed on Saturday. We are still nursing a few injuries so it may reflect team selection.
I'm looking for many to move up a gear now, with places up for grabs I expect the players full commitment both on and off the pitch. Nothing less will do in a week or so.

It's basically our last game, let's finish pre season well.
