Following their excellent win in the FA cup, Maidstone United return to league action this Saturday & visit Imber Court.

Jim Cooper gave us an update on the Met team for tomorrows visit of second placed Maidstone United.

` We have virtually a full strength squad to select from with only club captain Will Salmon & long term absentee Michael Charles missing. Having said we only have two players missing they are two huge absentees for us but hopefully Will is going to be fit again soon. We are really looking forward to playing Maidstone again. It is possibly my favourite place to go in the Ryman Premier league, a fantastic set up and facility and always welcoming. I watched Maidstone the other night against Dulwich and was very impressed with them. They have improved since our league game at their place when I thought they were good, but I felt we deserved something out of that game.
This is exactly the type of game that our players should relish against one of the top sides in our league. Maidstone will be on a high after an excellent FA cup win against Stevenage Borough and deservedly so. This will be a tough test for us but I expect a great game and clearly Maidstone have aspirations for promotion this season & will be focussed on this fixture despite the cup win.`
