A change for this week, as we are visiting Tonbridge Angels we thought we would get the update from Phil Cramp as he was a leg end there.....typo!

We visit Tonbridge Angels tomorrow afternoon in the League & a return to his hometown and the club where he started his career for our first team coach Phil Cramp. If the boys ask him nicely he may even sing his song in the dressing room before the game ! Apparently they sang it every time he scored....contrary to popular belief it was sung a few times!

There are a few close ties between the two clubs & after the game whatever the result, yours truly is out for dinner with the Tonbridge assistant manager, Barry Moore & the lovely Lara Moore. Our wives work together but I doubt that Barry or I will have much to say over dinner.....we can never usually get a word in! Aside from when the bill arrives...

Phil Cramp gave us this update on the team news for tomorrow. `After Wednesday's disappointing result at Cray Valley we will be looking to bounce back in the league tomorrow. The only absentee is James Aldred who is injured, so competition for places all over the pitch is at its best. We won the corresponding fixture at our place but we are expecting a tough afternoon against a very well drilled Tonbridge side. From my own personal experience having played with Tonbridge assistant manager Barry Moore at previous clubs, I know that Tonbridge will have a great work ethic and want to play a free flowing game of football. Our away record is something that needs to improve and by cutting out individual mistakes and being more clinical in the final third we hope to put this right tomorrow.`
