Two own goals, the second of which a header, would have been a goal to savour if it had been at the other end

Sidlesham Reserves (away) 2 - 5

With Sidlesham 1st team taking on a game against Pagham the following day, this game was downgraded to a game against their Reserve team and it turned out to be a low key game, part due to the sultry conditions but also to a lethargic display by the visitiors. Midhurst were 3-0 up at half time thanks to Luke Sheldrick's lob over the keeper and two own goals, the second of which a header, would have been a goal to savour if it had been at the other end. Midhurst started the second half in lack lustre fashion and were punished twice within 10 minutes to make the score 3-2. This, however, only served to wake up the away side and they scored twice more through Sheldrick and Gary Norgate for a final score of 5-2.

Squad: Aaron Jeal: Mark Broughton, Scott Dormer, Keith Martin, Luke Sheldrick, Jamie O'Leary, Tom Merritt-Smith, Jamie Hill, George Morris, Martin May, Oli Lee, Gary Norgate, Jordan Guyan, Craig Webb.
