This season’s annual sponsored walk will be taking place on Saturday 28th April. The walk starts at 12:00.
As with previous years we will be walking from the Mile Oak pub at midday, heading up to the Devils Dyke, having a break waiting for everyone to arrive and then heading back to the Mile Oak pub.
The date has been chosen to avoid clashes with any Brighton and Hove Albion home matches and to ensure it takes place when most leagues are complete and prior to the tournament season.
If you are taking part please ensure you have a drink for your walk and you may wish to take a pack lunch with you to eat up at the Devils Dyke.
Hopefully the weather will be kind to us so as many players as possible at the club can join in to raise some funds for our fantastic club, should the weather be too poor your team Coach and social media (this website and Facebook) will be updated should we have to cancel the event.
Please download and print off a copy of our sponsored walk form, if you are unable to do this please advise your coach and we can arrange for a form to be given to you.
Any younger players taking part will have to have a parent / guardian or in the care of another adult to ensure their safety, young children will not be allowed to walk alone.
There will be NO football training that day across the whole of the club to try and ensure as much participation as possible for the sponsored walk. If you still train on an all weather pitch the club will cover the costs of your pitch hire for this one event.
The only matches to take place will be scheduled league matches, no friendlies will be arrange for that date, again to try and ensure as much participation as possible.
If you have any questions please speak to your team coach or contact a member of the committee from the details on the contact page on our club website.
We look forward to seeing you all there.
