On a very warm afternoon, a MHSP XI drew 4-4 with Ivy. The visitors took an early lead after a mix-up in defence, MHSP got back on level terms with some neat play down the right and a cool finish, only for Ivy to go down the other end and re-take the lead after another defensive slip. MHSP drew level once again after a powerful header from a corner.

MHSP took the lead for the first time in the 2nd half after Ivy's defender took a swing and a miss at the ball. The fourth soon followed as the striker beat the offside trap, Ivy pulled one back after some good wing play, and the equalizer was a powerful strike.
