With both teams already relegated the match is no relevance in terms of the league, but what a game to end the season on, a good old slobber knocker of a local derby. Both teams have struggled this season, with heavy defeats at home and on the road, but with no pressure on the players, they will be able to go out and enjoy themselves and ready themselves for next season.
Bletchley will be boosted by the fact that their only win of the season came on week 1 against MK on a very wet and miserable day, however MK have shown that they are able to cope with some of the best teams in the league, and put them under pressure. All this adding to what should be a great game of rugby.
It is also a special day as MK physio, Debbie Woulds, has organised a charity day and evening with all proceeds going to Willen Hospice. The rugby action kicks off at 2:00pm as the 2nd/3rd teams of both clubs face off in a princess vs fairies match. There is food stalls, kicks entertainment all rolled into an action packed afternoon, so come and cheer your sides on, its going to be a firecracker.
