Milton Nomads launch their Respect Programme

Milton Nomads have launched their full committment to the national FA Respect programme, in readiness for the 2011/12 season.

We are one of the first Junior FC’s in the area to appoint a “Club Respect Co-ordinator" and this has been noted and praised by the Somerset FA.
It will enable the smooth launch and running of the programme, whilst offering a dedicated line of communication and support for all Players, Managers/Coaches and Club/Match Officials.
The Respect Programme has four practical steps to improve behaviour:
 Codes of Conduct
 Manage the match day environment
 The captain takes responsibility
 The referee manages the game

We are looking for Touchline Managers across the age groups to assist with the new programme. There will be full support and training for anyone interested in the role.

Nomads Captains will also benefit from training and support as well as all Club Managers, Coaches and Officials, plus there are Parent information sessions available to offer clarity of what the programme really means, although, so far, all agree, the Respect campaign is no more than common sense and the behaviour that the majoity of our players and supporters already display.

If you are intersted in finding out more about the campaign or willing to take an active role, please email melwoodards@hotmail.co.uk.
Everyone can support by joining "Respect FC" through the link on our homepage.
