Minch Preseason Builds Momentum

1 year ago By Andy Naish

Training is more important every week as the start of the season gets closer for new Head Coach, Sam Viggers.

Training has been very well attended every Tuesday and Thursday evening since July. Sessions are from 6.30pm for a 7pm and have seen on average over 25 players attending each time.
The bulk of last years 1st XV squad have been retained as well as few new faces to add competition for places.
With only a few sessions before the first preseason match there is a greater focus now on forwards and backs work, as well as the breakdown. Momentum is definitely building!

It's also great to see the Colts and U16s starting early as well.

Preseason matches are now confirmed:
Saturday 19th August - Tournament at Bristol Barbarians
Tuesday 29th August - Dursley (A)
Saturday 2nd September - St Bernadette's (H)

New players are welcome to attend.
