May 12th 2012 saw MRFC host a memorial tournament in the memories of
RFN: Daniel Simpson & RFN: Joe Murphy
I am delighted to announce that with your generosity the amount raised
was £4776.00 of which we had to pay out £440 for the auction items and
£250 to help 4 heroes for the Barcelona shirt from a previous auction
so clear profit donation to care for casualties will be £4086.
The club did as you can imagine quite well behind the bar so we have
donated all proceeds from the food and hot beverages to the charity.
Unfortunately 2 auction items that would have fetched a further £310
were returned as the bidder later realised that financing these would
not be theasable so the charity has purchased them out of the £450 and
I am considering whether to go ebay or something similar to enhance
the figures.

confirming the return fixture with Yardley & District very soon.
