Stephanie Williams is no stranger to football. She is a regular follower of her brother Scott who plays for Mold Alex Reserves. However, as far as football is concerned, she's not content with simply watching. Steph plays football herself for Northop Hall Girls U/10's and has been a revelation since joining them in September. Todate she has managed to score in every appearance and her cultured left foot is becoming something of talking point. In addition to her success at Northop Hall, Steph has now been selected to play for the North Wales Representative Squad following successful trials last Saturday at Llanrug near Caernarfon. She will take her place in the 10 girl squad to face the South Wales Representative Squad in Cardiff on the 23rd June. It has also been confirmed that next season she will step up to the Northop Hall Girls U/12's. Steph's dad Steve said;
"Obviously we are very proud of her and delighted that her hard work has been rewarded with a call up to the Rep's side. She's really looking forward to the next step in her footballing career." Congratulations to Steph and best of luck in June.
