Another of last years Cup winning side re-signs

Mold Alexandra FC are delighted to announce that Paul Lindfield has recommitted to the club by signing on for the 2015-16 season.

Paul Lindfield was signed in 2013 from Heswall FC and in his first season helped the club win the Welsh National League. After winning the Presidents Cup the 2014-15 season was blighted by injury but led to Paul returning to fitness in time to secure a NEWFA Cup winners medal at the end of the 2014-15 season.

Manager Sean Rogers added:

“We are all delighted Paul has re signed for the club. He is one of the best professionals around. He never misses a session, works incredibly hard and takes his game very seriously. It is easy to forget he is in his very early 20’s yet he has vast experience. He made his debut at 17 years of age in the Vodkat Division and has now played over 50 games in Welsh football and close to 150 games in adult football. He showed with his goals and performances against Flint, Conwy Borough, Caernarfon and Llanidloes (where he scored a 25 yard screamer) that he has the ability to hurt teams at this level. The issue with Paul is him staying free from injury. His fitness test results this pre season are the best he has ever posted at the club and this shows his determination to make a big impact this season. He can play in multiple positions and is a great signing for us to secure.”

Paul Lindfield added:

“I am delighted to have signed for the club. I am really happy here and have loved my time at Mold. Last year was really frustrating for me with various injuries and I could never really get going. I believe that when I am free from injury I can show more of the performances I delivered half way through last season when I got a run of games and felt in good nick. I believe in my ability and with a bit of luck I believe both I and the club can have a great season.”
