The Alex (sponsored by CAS Behavioural Health) won through to the 3rd round of the NEWFA Cup with a double digit victory over recently reformed Penyffordd. The visitors started well and went 1 up from the penalty spot in an even opening 15minutes. The Alex responded quickly and went on to score 4 before the half time break. Penyffordd never gave up but The Alex were too strong and scored 6 more before the final whistle. Good luck for the season to Penyffordd, they have some very good players and should do well in their league, but the Alex look forward to the draw for the 3rd round
