Sean talks to us about the Cefn Druids game

"Everyone is gutted about the result and scoreline but we can't feel sorry for ourselves.

The first twenty minutes were unacceptable and we gifted Cefn Druids a 2-0 lead. They are the worst side to give away a 2-0 lead to as they will be really well organised and disciplined, sit deep and look to hit you on the break.

We gifted them the lead through two poor errors inside fifty seconds and unfortunately with confidence the way it is right now it took the lads time to respond. That's not good enough and something we've discussed but it's easier said than done when you are on the run we are.

In the middle of the game we defended much better and had a lot of play but just couldn't break them down and when we did get a chance our finishing let us down. If we'd got it back to 2-1 it would've been game on but they've caught us on the break in the last twenty minutes when we are pushing for the goal to get back in it. The scoreline flatters them but credit Druids with their display and ruthlessness in both areas, that's what we are missing right now.

We had a worse run of results last year and turned it round and it's time to go back to basics, roll our sleeves up and focus on being tough to beat.

We haven't scored the first goal since September so the confidence has drained out the lads. We've got to try and rebuild that and dig out a result.

Our fixtures now to Christmas are critical and we will work harder than ever to turn this round and make the improvements needed."
