Associated Clubs

Moldgreen Junior RLC are always happy to welcome new partners on board, with the community working in unison to the benefit of the young sportsperson we have found that we can and do co-exist in a way that benefits everyone.

so as to ensure everyone is aware of what is exspected from the community partners Moldgreen Junior's in conjunction with Huddersfield Giants are piloting a new scheme Known as Comunity Club Links (CCL), each partisipating group who sighn up as a partner of other community groups benefit in a whole number of ways, promoting their team / sport, assistance with sourcing vital equipment, use of alternate venues (by arrangment), (Professional) specialist coaching assistance, support systems in place to help with acessing funding and most of all each member knowns that they will be able to organise teams without the fear of loosing players to "other" sports.

For example:

Muppet plays RL for Moldgreen - March - September/November, Muppet also plays Cricket in the summer months and for a local Football team in the winter months, these 3 teams are now informaly linked and are all competing for Muppets attendance at training and for him to give 100% to "their" club, however WITH formal links the clubs would be able to work alongside each other to ensure that Muppet need not split his loyaltys. if the RL club has a friendly in the winter months they contact the Football club and arrange the friendly for a date that suits both teams thus ensuring Muppet is not put in a situation where he has to choose!.

Example 2:

The RL club has a issue with a number of its under 12s running techneque so as a CCL member they contact the local atheletics club to arrange a date that atheletics club can send a sprint coach down to help the RL coach improve the kids running style,

Example 3:

one of the Network members has a successfull funding bid, with a quick email to the network the good news is spread and the other members can apply for funding too.
