Well we knew it was going to be hard for the Minis against the might of Blairgowrie. And we weren't wrong! The rain thankfully stayed off and 2 great matches were played. Both games were fought well with Blairgowrie winning both, 6 - 4 and 7 - 5. However, the Montrose Minis played a fantastic game and once again the skills displayed throughout both games reflected the fact that the coaching sessions are working. The 'offloading' and 'ball presentation' was visibly improved. Equally importantly, the Minis looked very impressive in stringing passes together and managing to support one another as they pushed forward. More focus on tackling required in future sessions but the team is eagerly looking forward to this week's away fixture against Lathallan. Both sides are itching to win this one.... this will be definitely one to see. Come along and support. See you all there!
