James King heading for Japan

4 years ago By Ian Nathan

2013 Rebels club Rep James King has secured a contract for the 2014 season in Japan.

James' new contract will see him playing the 2014 season with the Yakult Levins.

Moorabbin was lucky enough last year to not only have James as our Rebels representative last year, but to also have him take the field at the latter end of the season for the 1st grade team. His experience was invaluable to the team both on and off the field.

James will leave for Japan in the next few days for 6-7 months to begin the season with the Levins where he will join former Northland and Auckland team mate Hamish Paterson.

We would like to wish James the best of luck on this next stage of his rugby journey and let him know that he will always be welcome back at Moorabbin as either a player or a guest.
