The panel, formed by currrent committee members and players, went through a long process to reach this decision. They believe that together, Paul and Gareth will drive the vision of the club, making it the club of choice and continuing to strengthen club culture through our players and our game.
Gareth Houley stated, “I am excited for the opportunity and I’m looking forward to working on team culture and helping each of our players improve individually as athletes and as a team working together.”
Paul Maihi-Taniora added, “Moorabbin 'Rams' Rugby is so enriched with its history, its people and it's culture. My vision as joint Head Coach is to provide a platform for the modern day rugby player to make their place amongst the club's greatest from yesteryear so they too, can be proud to be part of the Rams 'whanau' family.”
