Pete Samu farewells NZ in style

1 week ago By Ian Nathan

Last Saturday Pete Samu wrapped up his time in New Zealand with another Super 15 Title playing for the Crusaders

It's been a busy year for Pete, having signed for the 2019 season with the Brumbies in Canberra, then being selected for the Wallabies and having to wait for the negotiations to be done to see if he would be allowed to join the Test team to face the Irish. Finally to top it off, Pete received a call up to play in the Super 15 final against the Lions.

Pete came off the Crusaders bench around the 50 minute mark and proceeded to rack up some impressive stats in the remainder of the game. His support play and ball running were excellent as usual and the Brumbies have definitely signed an great prospect for next season.

The club would like to extend our congratulations to Pete on his great career achievements so far and we look forward to following the rest of his journey.
