There was a great turn out at Far Moss last night as Jonny, Kristian and Andy - our local community coaches from the RFU, led fun sessions with girls from local schools including Allerton Grange, Allerton High, Cardinal Heenan and Carr Manor.

There was a great turn out with some forty girls in attendance - all really enjoying their rugby despite the freezing weather and muddy conditions.

With events like these promoting our wonderful game it can't but help expanding the numbers and opportunities for local girls to play, and we at Moortown are already benefiting from the session with a number of girls expressing an interest to join the new girls teams at Town.

Thanks guys it was great to get the opportunity to host the event, and as Jonny said to the girls at the end of the session "Rugby is the Winner!"
