The Titans have a Place to Clash

5 years ago By Adam Harrison

Moray Titans have finally stamped their mark on Moray taking ownership of a brand new set of rugby posts.

Rugby League Club, Moray Titans RLFC is well and truly coming to Elgin now after Moray Council have erected a set of 9m rugby posts in Doocot Park, New Elgin purchased by the club using the Awards for All Grant received in December.

The Clubs Chairman, Adam Harrison stated, “what a relief this is for the club, there were times I didn’t think we were going to get a ground to either play or train on, but now the club has an identity and people in Moray will now see that there is a rugby club based at the Doocot Park”.

It is hoped that in agreement with the Moray Council, a sign will be mounted on the pavilion at Doocot Park, again assisting with giving the club that identity it’s looking for in Moray and providing details of training times etc.

It is suggested that if people who would like to keep up to date with club news, training and match details etc, become a member of the clubs website which will allow for weekly emails.

And finally don’t forget the pre-season dance on the 5th March at the Laichmoray Hotel, Elgin, this event will be a great way to kick off the history of the club, the 2011 season and meet other members.

There will be live entertainment, licensed bar and lots of raffle prizes to be won with entry tickets being sold at a bargain price of £5 each. You can’t even get into Joannas Nightclub for that price!

Tickets are available at
Goggs Sport, The Wards, Elgin
