Disappointing performance sees 11s go out of cup
A full strength U11s team put in a poor batting display today as 8 wickets meant they were never in the running against a good Altofts side.
Morley, put into bat, never really got going today. A slow start put pressure on the later partnerships and wickets fell as the lads chased runs to make a competitive score. Ending on 94-8 for a very disappointing net 54.
Altofts cruised to victory despite an excellent spell from Brad Simcoates, who took 3-6 in his 3 overs to earn the man of the match award.
