Winning the toss and choosing to bat, Baildon lost wickets early to opening bowlers Michael Davies (2-21) and Spen Horsfall (1-22). Our young spin attack then got to work on the middle order led by Jerome Austin with 3-23 from his 10 overs and despite being wicketless, George Robson's 10 overs went for just 8 runs. Ash Daly also chipped in with 2-17 from his 7 overs before Graeme Roberts finished things off with a wicket and a run out.
99all out and 'The Daddy' Richard Winn was able to have a rest day!
In reply Morley made the required confident start with a 42 opening partnership between Ryan Dowse 22 and Michael Davies 31. Despite losing regular wickets after that Morley eased home with 20 overs to spare by 4 wickets.
