U9s going from strength to strength

The u9s have had a superb season with only 1 defeat &an appearance on finals day lined up. Members of the team are now making their way in Rep cricket

Harvey Winn played for the Heavy Woollen team on Sunday and took 2 wickets for 1 run in his 3 overs before scoring 18 not out as the Heavy Woollen league defeated the Huddersfield league. HW team reaching 345-3 (starting at 200) before taking a massive 19 wickets to win by a huge margin. he will be playing for them again this coming weekend.

Also, Harvey will captain the Bruntcliffe area side in the end of season Hard Ball Jacky Byrne trophy. He will be joined by Josh Cutt, Ben Richardson and Michael Marples who have all got well earned call ups. the matches will take place on Sunday 5th and 12th September. The matches act as Heavy Woollen trials and fingers crossed some of our lads will go through in to Heavy Woollen squad winter training.
