Good turnout to 1st Training session

2 weeks ago By Dennis Elam

Over 30 players turn up to start preparations for 2018-19

There was an excellent turnout on Monday night for the first training session. The session had been brought forward to avoid clashing with England's match against Columbia but there were still well over 30 players at the club.

The session was organised by forwards' coach Mark Burrow with Cavaliers' coach John Firth providing valuable assistance.

After a gentle warm up, the players were split into small groups and were given a variety of tasks to perform at different stations around the second team pitch.

The next session is on Thursday with the normal routine of Tuesday / Thursday evenings returning from next week. The training starts at 7.00pm prompt.

We would be delighted to welcome any new players.
Anyone wishing to turn up should turn up at Scatcherd Lane on the evening or call Chairman of Rugby, David Richmond, on 07714 153760.
