This is your chance to make sure that you and your club are involved in what guarantees to be a great weekend of fun, entertainment, sun (hopefully!) and of course hockey!
The festival format is a separate, 7-a-side Men and 7-a-side Ladies tournament that will run in parallel at Morpeth’s Longhirst Astroturf pitch, with refreshments, food and changing room facilities available at the Clubhouse located pitch-side.
Since the huge success of last year’s festival, our largest to date, the accommodation arrangements will remain the same and camping facilities will be available. The cricket pitch will be available for you to pitch your tents upon arrival, which is right next to our bar and clubhouse. The Clubhouse has ample showering and bathroom facilities with the 8 changing rooms which will be available for use for the entire weekend.
Friday (Evening) – Team registration, Meet and Greet at Clubhouse.
Saturday – Hockey matches, BBQ in the evening, Live Band entertainment.
Sunday – Hockey matches, Section Finals, awards and presentations, “Evening Farewell Party” in the Clubhouse.
Monday (Morning) – Breakfast and Departure.
On offer in the form of silverware at the festival is the much coveted ‘Coley Cup’, created in memory of Morpeth club stalwart Iain Cole, as well as the Men’s and Ladies’ tournament trophies.
