Morpeth Hockey Club

The previous Past Members Reunion was held on the 27th March 1999; 12 years ago and was deemed very successful by all. The club holds the belief that the time is right for another reunion.

This is your chance to re-connect with the club and see members from your past activities with Morpeth and a chance to meet the current and next generation of members. There will also be an opportunity for some light hockey for those who have sorely missed the sport and the optional light refreshment in the sunshine at the Clubhouse.

The order of the day shall be fun and celebration! Morpeth has had much to celebrate in recent years: the achievement of a club first award, being recognised by England Hockey as Club of the Year 2010 and now a new chapter in the annals of Morpeth Club history - Morpeth owning the freehold of the Clubhouse and surrounding pitches. This secures Morpeth’s future at Longhirst and ensures that the direction of the club is in the clubs hands.

The day’s format is a reception meet-and-greet in the clubhouse with the opportunity to view the acquired memorabilia from every era of the club. Two hockey matches are to be held for those members that would like to play in a friendly, followed by an evening of entertainment and a buffet dinner to be held at the Clubhouse.
