On a day when 3 of our main bowlers were missing this was allways going to be tough. 8 bowlers were tried as Morton struggled to contain The OCs batsmen. Dave Marriot in particular was in great form hitting 12 4s and 3 6s in a hard hitting 81. The innings closed at 244 for 8 Steve Carney and Luke Falconer got 2 wickets each and Adil got 3.
Morton's chase got off to a bad start with Cunningham and Jonesy both out early before Alan Farrell and Luke mounted a fightback putting on 74 for the third wicket before al was out caught at deep gully With Luke batting really well and deep giving great support Moron were in the game for a long time and the final total of 192 was a good effort And Luke was unlucky not to get a ton Being out for 89
