MWRFC make the finals in 10's tournament.

Moseley ladies rugby club made their way to the finals during the Rugby4Heroes 10's tournament on May 16th 2015.

We started off the day against a tough side, Hove, who previously won the cup during the Intermediate finals day in Lichfield a few weeks ago, so we knew we were up against it from the get-go. The game ended up 14-36 to Hove after 2 tries and conversions from Clare Bowyer and Jess Hill.

Our second match went a lot better against the Tena Ladies which ended 46 - 5 with tries from Clare Bowyer, Sam Jackson, Jess Hill, Emily Dove and Lauren Dackombe.

Our third match game us a 20 - 0 walkover as Loughborough were a no-show for the tournament.

Our fourth and final pool match saw the Moseley ladies up against Old Newtonians, this match decided whether we would make it to the semi-finals. After an amazing team effort we won 24 - 5 to face Camp Hill ladies in the semi's.

After playing Camp Hill earlier on the in the season we expected this match to be difficult, but after our short winning streak we found our Moseley flow and won 26 - 7 with tries from Emily Dove, Boe Meaton, Jess Hill and Sam Jackson.

A tired Moseley squad then faced their first opponents Hove again in the final in front of a large crowd on the first team pitch, but we did not prevail and unfortunately lost out on the top spot with a final result of 0 - 31.

Although we didn't win the tournament we did ourselves proud and put in our all to get to the finals! Along with a lot of happy sun-burned faces at the end of the day.
