Mount youngsters to face Japanese tourists.

Two of Mountain Ash' promising young players have been selected by the Welsh Academicals to take on Japan Under 20's next Saturday (12th May) at The Old Firm's Parc Dyffryn Pennar ground.
Youth team captain and scrum half Ross Davies, who has impressed in several 1st team outings this season will be joined by back rower Lewis Young who has adapted well in Mount's league camaign and the rigors of the very competitive Division 1 despite still being eligible for Youth team rugby. This will be the tourists second visit to Mountain Ash, having played the Academicals here several seasons ago. Japan are using this short tour in preparation for the IRB Junior World Cup that takes place in South Africa in June and following the fixture against the Academicals they move on to St. Helens, Swansea to face Wales on Tuesday evening where they could well come up against another Mount boy, centre Thomas Pascoe who has been included in the Wales squad for that prestigeous tournament.They conclude their visit to Wales with a final game against Bridgend College.
Kick off at Parc Dyffryn Pennar is at 2-30 and with entrance priced at just £3,(Under 16 - £1) a good crowd is expected to attend this very attractive fixture.
