League Position and news for the 2010/11 Season
Mountain Ash Athletic finish in 2nd place.
The Rhondda & East Glamorgan DRU have confirmed that Mountain Ash Athletic finished in second place for the 2009/10 season in Division 2B. They commented that the final table could have looked alot different if all clubs had been able to complete their league programmes and congratulated the league champions Dowlais. Mountain Ash RFC also pass on their congratsulations to Dowlais on their league victory and look forward to facing them next season.

The Rhondda & East Glamorgan DRU have also confirmed that Mountain Ash Athletic will compete in Division 1 Central for the 2010/11 season. The league feaatures the following teams and there's plenty of local rivalry's for the Old Firm!

The athletic will also be competing for the Mel Davies Cup.
