Murrayfield Wanderers FC
Child Protection Policy
Murrayfield Wanderers FC, its officers and its coaches, recognise the personal dignity and rights of children, towards whom we have a responsibility and a duty of care. As a club, and as individuals, we undertake to do all in our power to provide children and young people with safety and protection from harm while they are in our care. If we have reason to suspect that abuse has been perpetrated, we undertake to report our concerns to the appropriate authority.
Any concerns should be reported to the club's Child Protection Officer (CPO) in the first instance. The CPO is committed to encouraging good practice and supporting all procedures to protect children within the club.
Contact information for the CPO is on the club's website and in the Fixture Card.
The Scottish Rugby Union also implements its own Child Protection Policy and any concerns can also be directed to their CPO.
