Games wanted for 2nds and 3rds
Use your contacts to get extra fixtures.
We are looking for fixtures for the Men's 2nds and 3rds for the rest of the season. Fiona Johnstone is chasing this through the normal SRU channels, but sometimes, players' personal contacts can work better. So as and when any of you are talking to other clubs, then please sound them out about fixtures on any of the following dates, or just ask them to contact Fiona (fajohnstone@blueyonder.co.uk, 07946 815382). We don't really want to travel far, of course!
We recognise that we (and other clubs) cannot be certain of player availability on all these weeks, (particularly with games being re-arranged, pitch availability and Six Nation disruptions) but we would like to agree fixtures and then assess their viability nearer the day (as is done for league games). As ever, at least for the 3rds, we would prefer to share players or play 12/13 a side rather than cancel.
