Season 2015/16 sees Murrayfield Wanderers 3rd Xv and Edinburgh University combine, forming a University Wanderers team which will train at Murrayfield whilst playing their home games at Peffermill Playing Fields. The team will compete in the Reserve League East 3. First match will be played on 12th September.

Both Clubs, with long histories, are delighted at this development, ensuring that rugby is being played by even more players.

Former Edinburgh University Coach and current Director of Rugby at Murrayfield Wanderers, Dale Lyon comments:
