Morgan FP's Travelled down from Dundee to Murrayfield on Saturday to kick start the 2nd half of this season. With the message coming through that they had been unable to field an adequate front row, coaches Bruce Aitchison and Cakes Robertson agreed to uncontested scrums from the off. This move proved to be disastrous for the visitors as without the physical effort required at scrum time, the home pack tore holes through the defence allowing the backs to sail through gaps which opened with alarming regularity. Four tries from Gav Sharp, a brace of tries for Kyle Bayliss and Barry Turnbull followed by singles for Arran Richards, Johnny Lyons, Nick Hart, Stuart 'Scooby' Young and Ricky Simms. The scoring was capped off with a superb individual contribution of 32 points from new boy Chris Beattie scoring two tries and nailing 11 of his 15 conversion attempts.
All credit to Morgan though who despite being on the wrong end some heavy defeats this season and still trying to find their first league points, they didn't give up and made Murrayfield work hard for every point they scored.

Full Time: 97-0
Motm: Chris Beattie

The next two weeks see Murrayfield travel to Stoneyhill to face Musselburgh twice on the bounce in both League and Cup Duties. Massive support is required so please make every effort to get friends, family and significant others along to cheer on the Wandies.
