FA Trophy Draw UPDATE 3 - 3rd Round Qualifying

8 months ago By David Hamlet

Banbury v Farnborough match FA investigation

“The Cray Wanderers/Moneyfields replay takes place on Wed 22nd Nov”

UPDATE 3:
Farnborough FC are pleased to announce that the FA Committee have ordered the replay of the match against Banbury United next Saturday 25 November, with the winners to play the following round either the next Tuesday or Wednesday 28/29 November.
The Club pleaded guilty to not fulfilling the fixture (as clearly they didn’t) but having shown the mitigating circumstances, the FA ordered the game to be replayed, no fine or costs were ordered against the Club.

UPDATE 2:
Following the postponement of Tuesday's Buildbase FA Trophy Second Qualifying Round Replay v Farnborough, the FA have charged Farnborough FC for the breaching of FA Trophy Rule 7(e) Where a Club fails to fulfil any fixture the National Game Board shall take such action as it deems appropriate. Farnborough have been invited to make submissions, while Banbury have already submitted a report to the FA.
The matter will be considered by an FA Trophy Sub-Committee on Monday, 20th Nov
Note: Regardless on the FA decision Rebels game at Banbury next Tuesday, 22nd Nov, will definitely take place.
