The Generals are lying in 11th position in the league with 63 points from 43 matches. They have a fairly good home record, winning 12 and drawing 5 of the 22 games played. Three of their five home defeats coming from 'top-six' opponents - Chippenham Town (1-3), Leamington (0-1) and Banbury United (0-4). Chesham beat Hitchin Town (2-0) and held Merthyr Town to a draw (1-1). Home games have been watched by an average gate of 316 (12th placement in the league).
In their last three games Chesham have played Basingstoke Town (L 3-2, away); Biggleswade Town (L 1-2, home) and, Easter Friday, Weymouth (L 0-2, away). Recent performances have been very poor, with the Generals having failed to win any of their last eight matches, indeed, losing their last six. Their last victory was achieved on 4th March when they beat (now relegated) Cinderford Town with a solitary (penalty) goal 1 - 0.
Rebels lost this seasons New Year derby fixture at home 1-2. Last season also saw Slough lose the home tie 0-1, while they secured a 1-1 draw in Buckinghamshire. Indeed Rebels have not won any of their last ten league/play-off fixtures against Generals, losing on eight occasions. The last time Slough beat Chesham in a league match was on 1st April 2000 when they won 2-0 at home.
In this seasons FA Trophy Generals reached the 2nd Round Qualifying, losing heavily 0 - 4 away to Dulwich Hamlet (Isthmian Premier). They did, however, have a fine FA Cup run, reaching the 1st Round Proper before being beaten 2-1 away at Peterborough (League Division One).
Match Prediction: Chesham United 1 - 1 Rebels
