After last Saturday's 1 - 3 home defeat against fellow relegation candidates Cambridge City, Cirencester are perilously close to relegation. They currently occupy 23rd position in the table with just 36 points from their 43 matches played. Having conceded 91 goals this term, only basement club Cinderford Town and St. Neots Town have conceded more goals. Prior to last weekends 'six-pointer' Centurions recorded a 2-1 home success against Redditch United, before losing 3 - 1 at Kettering. After their fixture against Rebels they entertain Weymouth before travelling away to play Kings Langley in the final match of the season.
Centurions have played all the other 'top six' teams away from home this season, losing every match. They were beaten by Chippenham Town (4 - 1), Leamington (3 - 1), Hitchin Town (2 - 1), Merthyr Town (3 - 0) and Banbury United (2 - 1).
Rebels recorded a fine 3-1 away success in Gloucestershire during August, this following on from last seasons 'double' against Cirencester, winning 1-3 again, away, and 1-0 at home.
This season, the Centurions were well beaten in the FA Cup 2nd Round Qualifying by fellow division member Banbury United 1-6 at home and they were knocked out in the 1st Round Qualifying of the FA Trophy, again at home, 1-2 by Isthmian Premier high riders Havant & Waterlooville.
Match Prediction: Rebels 3 - 0 Cirencester Town
