Summary of pre-season fixtures

“Rebels will play five pre-season fixtures at Arbour Park”

Rebels kick-off their pre-season programme at Arbour Park on Tuesday 10th July (k.o. 19h45) against Metropolitan Police. They played in a friendly last season with Rebels winning 2 - 1. Met Police ended last season in 10th position in Isthmian Premier (level 7) and will play in the Southern Premier South division this coming season.

Championship Reading FC visit Arbour Park on Saturday 14th July, k.o. 15h00 as Rebels continue their pre-season preparation.

Isthmian Premier Kingstonian will be the next opponents, again at Arbour Park on Tuesday 17th July, k.o. 19h45. The K's finished in 13th place in their league last term.

Rebels first away outing will be at Staines Town on Saturday 21st July, k.o. 15h00. The Swans also play in Isthmian Premier and finished last season in 8th place.

National League (level 5) Boreham Wood come to Arbour park on Tuesday 24th July, k.o. 18h45. They finished in 4th place last season, losing 2 - 1 to Tranmere Rovers at Wembley in the promotion play-off final to miss out on a Football league placement. In the FA Cup they reached the 2nd Round Proper, losing 3 - 0 at Coventry City.

Rebels continue with another home fixture on Saturday 28th July, k.o. 15h00 against opponents who need no introduction - Kettering Town.

The final pre-season fixture sees Rebels travel the short distance to Beaconsfield on Tuesday 31st July , k.o. 19h45 to play last season's Southern South champions Beaconsfield Town who will play in Southern Premier South this coming season.

So there will be ample opportunity for Rebels fans to cheer on the team before the big kick-off on Saturday 4th August. The National League South fixtures will be released this coming Wednesday, 4th July.
