Hereford, winning 1 - 0 at Banbury and Kings Lynn winning 2 - 0 at home against Hitchin kept up the pressure, while Rebels performed a miracle, overhauling a 4 - 0 half time deficit to record a fine 5 - 4 victory at Merthyr. Gosport Borough are firmly anchored at the foot of the table following their 7 - 2 reversal at Dorchester and Dunstable gaining a point in a 2 - 2 draw at St. Neots.

Best attendance (1067) saw Linnets home match with Hitchin, closely followed by Banbury (1011) against Hereford. The lowest gate was recorded at St. Neots (180).
There were no hat-tricks this mid-week but Aaron Rodrigues (Dorchester), Ian Traylor (Merthyr), James Dobson (Slough) and Adam Marriott (Royston) each scored two apiece.
