Tivvy finished 3rd in the South & West division, gaining promotion following a 2 - 0 win away to fancied Salisbury in front of 2,247 spectators

The Devon club play at Ladysmead (cap 3,500) - 164 miles from Arbour Park (Rebels longest journey of the season).

In last season's major cup competitions Tivvy were knocked out of the FA Cup in the Preliminary Round, losing 0-2 in a home replay by Taunton Town, following a 4-4 draw in Somerset. In the FA Trophy, they lost 0-1 at home to Wimborne Town in the 1st Round Qualifying

This season will see the first ever encounters between the clubs.

Tiverton Town have played in the Western League (1973/99) and the Southern League (from 1999)

Best ever showings:
LEAGUE: Southern Premier 2002/03, finishing 4th.
FA CUP: Tivvy have reached the 1st Round Proper on a number of occasions, the best being in 2002/03 when they lost 2 - 3 away to Crawley Town in a replay, following a 1 - 1 home draw.
FA TROPHY: 2011/12 losing a 5th round tie 1-2 at home against Worksop.
FA VASE: They were beaten finalists in 1992/3, losing 1-0 to Bridlington Town at Wembley; then they were the Vase winners in consecutive seasons - 1997/8 when beating Tow Low Town 1-0 and 1998/9, beating Bedlington Terriers 1-0.
