Match preview

Eastbourne Borough v Slough Town, Priory Lane, Langney, Eastbourne, East Sussex - Saturday 20th October KO 15h00
F.A. Cup 4th Qualifying Round.

The winners of the 32-ties will receive £25,000 in prize-money and enter the draw for the 1st Round Proper, together with the 48 teams from the Football League Divisions One and Two (levels 3 and 4). Matches to be played on 10th November.

Since Rebels visited Priory Lane on 15th September , recording a remarkable 2 - 4 victory playing with only ten men for some 75 minutes, Eastbourne Borough have played four fixtures - two league and two F.A. Cup.
In addition, they have made two new signings - young striker Alfie Rutherford has joined on loan from Havant & Waterlooville; and young defender Tobi Adebayo-Rowling, a loanee from Bromley FC.

In the league they were held to a 2 - 2 draw away to Gloucester City, who scored a last gasp equaliser. Harry Ransom and Tom Gardiner netting for Borough. Last Saturday, then entertained Torquay United at Priory Lane, losing the match 2 - 4 with Jamie Reid scoring a second half hat-trick for the Gulls. 13m05s match highlights courtesy of Eastbourne Borough FC - link (copy and paste): http://www.ebfc.co.uk/videos/sports-news-eastbourne-borough-2-v-4-torquay-unite-133845.html

In the F.A. Cup they secured a 0 - 1 away success over Eastern Counties League (level 9) Brantham Athletic thanks to a Yemi Odubade goal in the second half in their 2nd qualifying round tie. This victory gave them a home draw against Dulwich Hamlet. It all seemed so easy for Sports who scored four goals in the first half, while Hamlet had a player sent off just before half time. However, Dulwich came back with three goals in the final quarter of an hour and so nearly forced a replay. The match ending 4 - 3 in Eastbourne's favour, to set up this final qualifying round tie.

Match Odds: Eastbourne Borough Win 15/10; the Draw 26/10; Slough Town Win 13/10

Prediction:
Can Rebels win here again? Will we have another replay? I think that the result could go either way.... but here goes
Eastbourne Borough 2 - 2 Slough Town
