Below is a list of youth meetings for all to attend:
All the meetings will take place at Sirius Academy (time to be confirmed)
Tue 7th February – U12s to U15s
Tue 14th February – U8s & U9s
Wed 15th February – U10s & U11s
This meeting is for coaches (head and assistant), Team managers and Touchline managers. The league will issue sanctions to clubs whose personnel do not attend. The purpose of the meeting is for coaches to work with the local referees societies to agree / understand the rules and recent rule changes. The purpose of Touchline Managers and Team Managers attending is to reinforce the paperwork processes and refresh the Touchline Managers training.
LW highlighted that anyone who is currently doing the TLM role but not got a badge should come along with a passport photo and the training will be adequate to qualify them (CB & LW will arrange a badge).
LW also advised that on the evening CB & LW will be able to verify CRBs so anyone needing a check or recheck should bring with them; passport, license, proof of address and proof of NI number.
All agreed it was imperative to have maximum attendance at these meetings to ensure that the new summer season runs smoothly.
Attendance at the meeting for coaches does constitute professional discussion therefore badge revalidation upon completion of a form available from LW.
