Healthwatch North Somerset looking to engage with local community

5 months ago By Dave Hudson

Healthwatch North Somerset use any feedback from the general public to improve local health and social care services.

Healthwatch North Somerset are always looking for new and different ways to engage with the local community. They have requested that information about their online feedback centre could be shared with members/supporters and if there would be any suitable times for us to visit and talk to members/supporters?

What does Healthwatch North Somerset do?

Listen to your views and concerns about local health and social care services
Use your views to write reports on services and make recommendations on how services can be improved
Use your views to give feedback to organisations responsible for planning, commissioning, delivering or monitoring health and social care services
Provide you with information and signposting about local health and social care services. This includes how to access them and what to do when they go wrong
Visit publicly funded health and social care services to talk to patients, service users, carers and staff
Make sure people who are vulnerable or less able to speak are heard
Alert Healthwatch England or the Care Quality Commission, where appropriate, to concerns about specific care providers and health and social care matters
