History
Nantymoel RFC was formed in 1885/86 by men who came to the Ogmore Valley to work in the mines. Initially the club was known as the White Stars,a name they kept for a number of years.
Between 1905 and 1914 the club was accepted into the Bridgend and district league, winning that league in 1923/24. During this period
we played clubs such as Bridgend,Llanelli and Cardiff,keeping that fixture until 1957/58.
