Narborough won the toss and elected to bat. They did not get the best of starts, losing Joe Softley and Ben King cheaply. After 2 overs, Narborough were 10 runs for 2 wickets. When Dersingham batted, runs were just as hard to come by, wickets fell regularly and a similar pattern emerged with 35 extras being the highest scorer. With 8 runs wanted to win off the last over bowled by Charlie Steeles, it looked like a Narborough win, but a single, a wide and a boundary off the last ball made the match a tie with Dersingham on 64 for 7 wickets, both teams sharing the points.
