Narborough Juniors continued their unbeaten run with a tie against Dersingham under 12's last Friday evening at Narborough Hall.

Narborough won the toss and elected to bat. They did not get the best of starts, losing Joe Softley and Ben King cheaply. After 2 overs, Narborough were 10 runs for 2 wickets. Liam Adcock batted stubbornly for a long time for his 4 runs , Mark Still batted well for his 8 runs. 33 extras was the main contributor to the score of 64 for 5 wickets at the end of the Narborough innings.

When Dersingham batted, runs were just as hard to come by, wickets fell regularly and a similar pattern emerged with 35 extras being the highest scorer. Mark Still, Ben King, Tom Fox and Charlie Steeles all took wickets, Tom Fox also contributed an excellent run out. With 8 runs wanted to win off the last over bowled by Charlie Steeles, it looked like a Narborough win, but a single, a wide and a boundary off the last ball made the match a tie with Dersingham on 64 for 7 wickets, both teams sharing the points.
